This is an often overlooked and underappreciated skill in IT where their is a strong perception many roles are individual and don’t require a great deal of interaction with other people.

Similar to teamwork, being able to communicate effectively both in person and over various mediums such as email is an essential skill for professionals in any sector. In IT, knowledge and skills can quickly become outdated. Successful IT professionals commit to continuous learning, whether through formal certifications, online courses, or personal projects.

You must want to wake up excited about what is new in the world, dedicate countless hours of your life behind the screen and investing tens of thousands of dollars of your own money being an early adopter of the latest IT trends.
Those that have genuine passion not only enhances their expertise but also motivates them to go above and beyond in their roles, contributing ideas, improvements, and innovative solutions that benefit the world. Passionate exceptional IT professionals are those that are the first to spot new opportunities or ways to do something and want to make it better without being asked.
